The Texas Angler's Club launched its Super Striper tournaments in 2015, establishing a beloved tradition for anglers. Each event combines the excitement of fishing with the enjoyment of sharing legendary fishing stories, transforming every tournament into a memorable experience.

These competitions have developed into thrilling adventures filled with laughter and camaraderie as anglers compete for the aggressive striped bass that inhabit Lake Texoma and other Texas waters.

Each year, anglers gather for two days of fishing organized by champion angler Ruben “Rusty-Hook” Amesquita, along with exceptionally skilled guides Tommy “Tom-Cat” Blanzedt, Hunter "HG" Graham, and Steve “Peanut” Nelson.

Their shared love for the sport fosters a sense of community as they exchange tall tales and the latest fishing techniques. Both seasoned anglers and newcomers eager to compete are welcomed, forging unforgettable bonds through their passion for fishing and adventure.
